Everyone searches for ‘who is the most powerful superhero?’, but lets for a moment forget about the Superman and Goku debates, and wonder, who is the most underrated superhero of all time. There are many that you’ll find, who are just as amazing as the most popular ones but do not get their deserved attention.

Here are the top five superheroes that we feel deserve more light:

Nightwing, his name is derived from Krypton and the Batman family of DC Comics. He first appeared in January 1963. Nightwing is famously known for being Batman’s first sidekick aka Robin until he finally decided to break out from being just a sidekick. He then adapted ‘Nightwing’ as his superhero name. He is an exceptional martial artist and combat strategist and has all the advanced technology, alongside brilliant deductive skills and gymnastic ability. Plus, he is voted as the No 1. sexiest male character in the comics.

Moon Knight, from Marvel comics, was first introduced in August 1975. He has an interesting characterization as there’s a lot of history behind who he is as a superhero. It’s stated that Moon Knight’s concept is like what would have happened if Batman suffered from a multiple personality disorder. He is a hero who is on a journey of redemption with a fascinating personality. Moon Knight’s arch-enemy is Bushman who has a skull tattooed on his face!

Firestorm, from DC Comics, debuted first in the Firestorm, the Nuclear Man No. 1 in March 1978. He has a power that can transmute any form of matter, meaning he can change ANY structure in seconds. When in combat, he can rearrange the molecules of any matter to anything else. No weapon could stand a chance against him in a fight. In my opinion, Firestorm can be called the alchemist of the super world.

Martian Manhunter, created by DC comics first appeared in November 1955. He is one of the seven original members of the Justice League of America and one of the most powerful beings in the DC universe. Like any other superhero, Martian Manhunter also has a very melancholic background story. He is from Mars, hence the name. He has various powers, like enhanced physical abilities, psychic sense, enhanced martial senses, and much more. However, he is vulnerable to fire.

Cyborg, from DC Comics, first appeared in October 1980. He is originally from Teen Titans but is also one of the founding members of the Justice League in the reboot show. Victor Stone or Cyborg is half human and half machine and has access to a large arsenal of high-tech gadgets and weaponry, which also provides him life support. His powers are not to be underestimated as he has superhuman strength, speed, stamina, and flight.
