We sometimes crave for more cool and enriching drinks. Coolers lower the body temperature and detoxify keeping us energized and active throughout the day. Beat the heat and quench your thirst with these easy summer cooler recipes that you can prepare in a jiffy for your family and friends.
It is an easy recipe for an easy breezy day. All you need for this is lemon, ginger, salt, sugar, a few sprigs of mint leaves, and ice cubes. Recipe: Blend lemon juice, ginger, salt, and sugar for at least 30 seconds until the sugar completely dissolves. Pour the juice into a glass and top it with mint leaves. Add 5-6 ice cubes and relish the drink.
This juice is healthy and refreshing. For this ABC juice, all you need is an apple, beetroot, carrot, mint leaves, lemon juice, water. Recipe: Blend the diced apple, beetroot, carrot with water and lemon juice until smooth consistency. You can blend the mint leaves along if or just top it at the last. Strain the juice through a sieve and add a pinch of salt, top it with the mint leaves and drink it immediately.
For this refreshing drink, you will need a few strawberries, mint leaves, lime, soda water, plenty of ice cubes.
Recipe: Mash the strawberries, mint leaves, and lime into the bottom of the glass with a spoon. Add in the ice cubes as required, you can add them crushed or directly. Pour over the soda water and serve unstirred.
This is one of my personal favourites! It is a must-try recipe for the Oreo lovers. All you need for this frappe are chilled milk, Oreo cookies, chocolate or vanilla ice cream, chocolate syrup, and instant coffee powder (if required).
Recipe: Take milk, ice cream of your choice, Oreo cookies, and chocolate syrup in a jar and blend all the ingredients. Pour the frappe into serving glass Garnish with a scoop of ice cream and drizzle chocolate syrup and some crushed cookie chunks.
This bright summer fruit tastes just as good as it looks. For this recipe, all you need is seedless watermelon, lime juice, sugar or sweetener if required, fresh mint leaves, plenty of ice. Recipe: Blend the watermelon and lime juice until smooth. Add sugar if required and blend again. Pour the mixture over ice in the glass and finish topping with the sprigs of mint.
